Prohibited practices & account rules
EA / bots / algorithmic trading
You must be the sole owner of any bot or strategy used, prove exclusive use within Tradeify, and avoid HFT-style bots. The firm may request a live video of you enabling code on your own PC, and can ask for documentation if flagged.
Microscalping (funded stage only)
To pass this rule, over 50% of your trades must be held longer than 10 seconds, and over 50% of your profit must come from those longer-held trades.
Maximum account idle time
Funded accounts need at least one trade per week (Monday–Friday) to stay active. This applies per account, not per user.
Hedging & correlated products
Minis and micros can be held together, but a mini and micro in opposing directions on the same or correlated product (e.g. long MES + short NQ) is still a hedging violation — and the rule applies across all accounts you control.
Copy trading
You may only group-trade between accounts you personally own and manage. Copying other traders' strategies or trading with others is not permitted; third-party copiers are used at your own risk.
Simulated funded account limits
An individual — and separately, a household — is capped at 5 simulated funded accounts at any time.
Trading hours
The trading day runs 6:00 PM ET to 5:00 PM ET the next day. All positions must close by 4:45 PM ET; open positions are auto-closed at the break without counting as an account failure, though slippage can occur.
